GENERAL QUESTIONS
Go to https://savinggracespecialneedshomeschool.co.za/online-registration/ and enrol for the curriculum that suits your child’s needs.
The following documents will be required during the enrollment process, keep them handy in electronic format:
- Copy of the parent & student ID/birth certificate
- Previous academic year’s reports
- Your enrolment is first approved.
Once you complete the online registration form, one of our consultants will get back to you with registration forms to be completed online or printed, completed and sent back to us together with some documents.
Once we receive your registration form, it will be sent to our enrolment department for processing after which you will receive an email regarding your registration.
If your registration has been approved, the email will include an invoice to be paid as well as a request to send the students email and parents email address to our technical team for setup of the students profile.
If your child is of compulsory school-going age (7–15), the next step is to register with Department of Basic Education for homeschooling.

A computer, tablet or laptop is needed to get started and a stable internet connect is essential.
Your laptop/computer must have a webcam as this will be needed during access process.
Please note that during the term, our curriculum is downloadable from the system and thus students can work online and offline.
Our Special Needs Curriculum is NOT CAPS Aligned and does not go to Grade 12. The aim of this curriculum is NOT matriculation and thus our students do not need to complete Grade 12 or go to university. Our Special Needs Curriculum aims to equip students with special educational needs with basic life skills to enable them to be functional adults. This Curriculum focuses on 3 Main subjects: Mathematics, English and Life Skills and is a much more easier curriculum than CAPS. Our students simply love it.
Our Special Needs CAPS Curriculum on the other hand is CAPS Aligned and this students are able to transfer back to traditional CAPS Schools on our Curriculum and can also go to Univeristy.
Saving Grace Special Needs Homeschool is a home education curriculum provider for Grade R–9 specialising in Special Needs Curriculum but also offering the CAPS Curriculum.
Our students study either from home or are enrolled at a Tutor Centre of their choice.
Our Curriculum is Self Paced and there is no prescribed hours of work needed as this will differ for each child and each family. Parents and Tutor Centres are encouraged to work acquiring to their child’s individual pace.

Students with Special Educational Needs do need support and therefore parents are encouraged to either develop a timetable that works for your family based on your availability or search for a tutor centre near your home who can then facilitate the day to day learning.

We will be offering (Grade 10-12) ?
Our Special Needs Curriculum goes up to Grade 9 after which students then go the vocational route.
Our Special Needs CAPS Curriculum will be available for Grade 10 to 12 in 2024.
Yes our Special Needs and CAPS Curriculumis fully available in English and Afrikaans.
FINANCES AND ENROLLMENT PERIODS
You may pay for the entire year upfront or choose to pay monthly over 12 months.
Parents are required to provide the school with a one months written notice of cancellation.
Our Curriculum is Self Paced and this enables students to enrol at anytime during the year.
EXAMINATIONS AND ADJUDICATION
Our assessments are fully Online/Digital Assessments.
No, students write their assessments at their own date and time once they have completed the terms work. For our special needs curriculum, there is no time limit on assessments. Student write assessments termly at the end of each term.
