SPECIAL NEEDS CURRICULUM
Saving Grace Special Needs Homeschool is grounded in our belief in Inclusive Education and that no child should be left behind and that is why we have developed a Special Needs Curriculum to cater for students with Special Educational Needs.
There are so many parents and students around the world who have tried various curriculums that is just not suited for their child’s SPECIFIC academic needs which is why our number 1 priority was to develop a Special Needs Curriculum that is not only suited for your child but that is also enjoyable.
Our goal is to equip all children for the real world by providing them with the academic and basic skills needed to be functional adults.
Every child is special, from their individual freckles right down to the size of their pinky toes! But some children have needs that are considered “extra” special — outside the scope of the ordinary. If your child fits into this category, then you understand that they are learners with special needs, as well.
If your child is not coping in main stream this is probably due to one of 2 things: The CAPS Curriculum may not be suited for them or perhaps it could be the fast pace of traditional schooling that is putting pressure and affecting them negatively.
If you are exploring the option of Online Homeschool for your child with special educational needs then you are at the right place. If you child has been stuck on the CAPS or any other curriculum for years with little to no progress then it’s time to make a change that will benefit you and your child.
Our Special Needs Online Homeschool offers parents two homeschool curriculum option:
- Special Needs Curriculum (Grade R-9-Available in English and Afrikaans)
- Special Needs CAPS Curriculum (Adjusted CAPS) (Grade R-9-Available in English and Afrikaans-Students can do this over 12 or 18 months)
